Student Life

The feeling visitors immediately have when they come to campus is one of openness and friendliness. New students find it easy to make friends and to become included in the school community. Not only will your child receive an outstanding, well-rounded education in the classroom, but they take with them the every day life lessons that help them build character and confidence.

Rossman is a special place where students make life-long friends.Every Monday, we meet as a whole school for either our "Monday Morning Gathering" or a "Rossman Family Gathering". The Monday Morning Gathering is a school-wide assembly where students can showcase their individual talents, a project they are working on in class, or simply encourage and celebrate their classmates and teachers. The Rossman Family Gathering helps students get to know one another, respect and care about each other and feel valued as part of our larger school community.

When lunch time rolls around, our students sit with their respective classes and teachers. Our caring and friendly kitchen staff is diligent about each child's individual needs and allergies. Our lunch menu is shared a week ahead of time so students can pick out what they'd like to eat each day.

Our 20-acre campus offers a variety of opportunities for play and exploration and has been specifically tailored to elementary aged children. We have playgrounds designed for both our Upper and Lower Schools. Including a Gaga Pit, outdoor musical instruments, nature trail and creek, as well as an athletic field and track.

Rossman celebrates many traditions that students talk about long after they leave the school. Here a few we love and cherish:

  • Halloween, Holiday and Valentine’s Day parties
