About Us
Rossman School is an independent private preparatory school for students in Junior Kindergarten (age 4) through Grade 6. Nestled on a 20-acre campus in St. Louis, Missouri, Rossman was recently ranked among the nation’s 50 Best Private Elementary Schools.
For over 100 years, Rossman has provided children in the St. Louis area with a solid foundation in academics, athletics and the arts while cultivating strong character and leadership skills. Our small, nurturing school community of one class per grade provides a close, supportive climate and our unique team teaching model allows our veteran faculty to provide every student with lots of individual attention.

Team Teaching
Rossman’s unique team teaching model provides different perspectives and approaches to each child’s learning. Two full-time homeroom teachers work together to plan, deliver, and assess instruction. This also gives students two teachers to connect with and two teachers to support them when needed.
Parents’ Club
Rossman is stronger because of the loyalty and dedication of its parents. The Parents’ Club is a fund-raising and friend-raising organization that leads numerous events, from cultural enrichment and wellness programs for the children to flower sales and auctions. The friendships that develop between parents are deep and long-lasting.
