The programs offered after the regular school day are Rossman’s response not only to working families who need a complete afterschool program, but also to all families who desire additional enrichment experiences for their children. There are two primary components to the afterschool program, the Afterschool Enrichment Program (AEP) and the Extended Day Program.
Director: Ben Essenburg
Teachers: Rossman invites specialized teachers to bring their programs to the students.
Enrichment experiences vary by grade level and may include such options as art, foreign languages, music, sports and drama. The following programs are offered for the 2009-2010 school year.
Under the direction of Rossman’s own physical education teachers, this program offers cross-country, volleyball and soccer with some inter-school competition during the first trimester.
Gymastics, floor hockey and basketball are offered during the second trimester while softball and track are featured during the third trimester.

Rossman also sponsors a pack and a troop for the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts. The Scouting program is offered through the leadership of parents in the school. Children enthusiastically participate, and the number of young alumni who become Eagle Scouts is a significant statement about the commitment of parents, the interest of the children and the effectiveness of the program.
