The Learning Doesn’t Stop at 3 O’Clock

The Afterschool Enrichment Program (AEP) and Extended Day Program provide options for both families who need after school child care and families who desire additional enrichment experiences for their children. Enrichment offerings vary from year to year, but typically include sports, foreign language/culture, academics and arts.

The Extended Day Program is available until 6:00 p.m. and offers tremendous flexibility to families, with options for full time care, first hour only care, specific day of the week care and occasional drop-in care. Children who take part in Extended Day enjoy snacks, then participate in storytime or complete homework assignments and, if time allows, have the pleasure of playing with schoolmates. Childcare is also offered on days that school is not in session due to parent-teacher conferences, faculty professional development and some national holidays. On these days, the Extended Day staff members combine free play with informal arts and crafts, games and movies to create a relaxing, fun experience for the children.

For all these programs, staff members ensure a safe, nurturing environment, equivalent to that found in our regular program.
