Admission Process

Applications for admission are distributed through the Director of Admission. They should be on file with the school by January 15 if a family is considering enrollment in August 2010. Late applicants are evaluated as scheduling permits if space remains in the requested grade level. After a student is accepted, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure the child's enrollment.

2010-2011 School Year
Admission Calendar

Through January 15, 2010 — Applications accepted.
A $110 application and evaluation application fee is required.

January 2010 — All families who have applied for admission are notified of the date and time their children will be evaluated.

January 28 and 29, 2010 (Thursday and Friday mornings) — Evaluation of applicants for Junior Kindergarten

February 6, 2010 (Saturday morning) — Evaluation of applicants for Senior Kindergarten through Grade 6

The school must receive the following for each applicant prior to the date for the evaluation:
• Independent Schools of Saint Louis Common Teacher
Referral Form (will be sent directly from Rossman School
to your child's school in January)
• Rossman Application Form
• Transcripts, including current report card, from present school
(for children applying to Grades 1 through 6)
• Tour and meeting with Director of Admission
• Photo of your child (optional)

March 2010 — Families are informed about admission decisions.

Late Applicants

If space is available, applications will be accepted and individual evaluation appointments will be scheduled. If you are seeking admission after the above scheduled times, please contact Rossman School directly to proceed with the admission process.
